Q: What does the word "lifestyle" mean? You use it in all your information.

“Lifestyle” is actually LIVING your life. Learning how to put all the necessary elements together to create your general health, exercise, eating, exercise, well-being, time management.

Some people include activities in this also, including work. In this way, it's also called work/life balance.

Q: Can't 'just anyone' help me get fit? There are so many "gurus", personal trainers, and authors.

You need to decide for yourself whether you want to put your fitness, your life, and your money into 'just anyone'. There are a tremendous about of people looking to make money, and many aren't honest, ethical, health-oriented, or available for you.

Many of these gurus will have offers which seem 'too good to be true'. Their offers sound like miracles - they may charge too much money for their services or the price will seem quite cheap. Think carefully about any "guru" whose offers seem more miracle than professional.

Why would *I* need a wellness/lifestyle coach?

If you have ever had problems sticking to a “diet”, discerning the differences in the media hype of exercise or nutritional concepts, understanding your own fitness goals outside of “I want to lose weight”, or even carving out time to be more productive, then a Physical Mind program might be for you.

I don’t have a lot of free time. How can I fit this into my busy schedule?

We all have to make choices in life, and create the time for the most important facets. Create time for the most important projects in your life.

Since the coaching is not in-person, it fits your schedule any other pleasure or business phone call – except that it helps your life and your health so much more. The programs are designed for your busy schedule in mind:

  • “SmartFitness” is a one-time-only consultation.
  • The phone coaching is done by phone or via IM (immediate message) over the Internet.

In this way, you can have the coaching call while commuting in the car, or on your lunch hour, or anytime during the day or evening – as long as it fits Lauren’s (and your) schedule.

Additionally, Lauren's seminars may help guide you in a group education format with little or no ongoing commitment.

What is the guarantee of success?

While no program “guarantees” success (ie: weight loss, etc), if you have a willing heart and are ready to make changes in the parts of your life which are ‘not working’, then, truly, the programs will work. How long it takes will be up to you. There are no fad diets or weird exercise equipment. These principles are based on YOUR own needs, and YOU make only the changes which work well.

Lauren uses true methods of behavioral change, sound current nutritional information, proper fitness instruction, and has a great ear for listening and strategic problem-solving. While she can HELP you, the rest of the success comes from YOU.
